This year, the program of activities of the Havana Biennial includes performances from the worlds of dance, theatre, music, film and literature. In the words of one of the organisers: “It won’t be a Biennial for collectors or gallerists, but rather to make a connection with the city”. There will be no official opening or specific venue; art will spill out of the galleries, bursting into the streets which will be bubbling with ideas.

The Havana Biennial Art Exhibition takes place in Havana (Cuba) every two years and principally aims at promoting the developing world in contemporary art. The biennial is considered as an important forum for underrepresented voices, and Latin American and Caribbean artists still have priority even though artists from all over the world are authorized to submit their works (source Wikipedia).
