Banksy work "Silent Majority" for sale at auction

An early and unique piece by Banksy has got a Certificate of Authenticity. This Banksy piece from 1998 is an original travelers trailor and painted in collaboration with the graffiti artist Inkie. Silent Majority will go under the hammer at Digardauction, Paris in June. It is regarded as one of the most original works ever done by Banksy.

An early and unique piece by Banksy has got a Certificate of Authenticity. This Banksy piece from 1998 is an original travelers trailor and painted in collaboration with the graffiti artist Inkie.  Silent Majority will go under the hammer at Digardauction, Paris in June.  It is regarded as one of the most original works ever done by Banksy.
 
Banksy painted the work in 1998 at Glastonbury Festival. The current owners stated that the work was created in 3 days. Banksy just asked them to use the back side of their trailer as a canvas. The work shows men dressed like soldiers with the words : "It's better not to rely too much on silent majorities.. for silence is a fragile thing... one loud noice and it's gone."  The work is signed by Banksy and Inkie.
 
                    
 
The work itself is spray paint on a metal chassis and measures 2.4 m x 9.93 m. The work will be auctioned on Monday, June 1st 2015 at DIGARDAUCTION in Paris at Hotel Drouot, while sale preview is on Saturday May 30thSunday May 31th, and Monday June 1st 2015 in Room 10 and 16 at the Hotel Drouot in Paris. The price is expected to reach in the region of £300,000 – £400,000.
