BOUNDLESS: CONTEMPORARY ART in HK by Sotheby's

On 19 January 2017, Boundless: Contemporary Art, Sotheby’s Hong Kong’s lifestyle-oriented auction series beginning in 2012, sails into its fifth year. A cross-discipline array of modern and contemporary art, design furniture, artist jewellery, street art, and 20th century photography will be presented at Sotheby’s Hong Kong Gallery. This season’s highlights include works by renowned artists from Asia and the West including Pablo Picasso, Banksy, George Condo, Yoshitomo Nara, Cindy Sherman, Keith Haring and Zao Wou-Ki, among others. The sale, amassing over 130 lots, is estimated at HK$29million – 40million/ US$3.74million – 7.47milion.

Pablo Picasso Twenty-Eight Gold Medallions. Conceived in 1956, gold. Est. HK$3,500,000 – 4,000,000/ US$449,000 – 513,000.
