The August Christies's Interiors sale (August 22) offers the collection of exuberant New York interior designer Tom Britt. This eclectic collection exemplifies Tom’s design style with 18th and 19th century furniture and decorations, Chinese, Indian and Southeast Asian works of art, works by French artist Line Vautrin and furniture of Britt’s own design. The sale will also feature fine art by French/Vietnamese artist Le Pho, French artist Camille Bombois and American artist Jane Freilicher and will include fabulous examples of Chinese Qing dynasty ceramics and art as well as iconic 20th century Tiffany Studios bronze and favrile glass.

As a special element, guest curators Sarah Bray, interiors editor at Modern Luxury magazines, and Anne Spilman, founder and interior designer at Anne Spilman LLC, demonstrate with their lot selections from the sale how to incorporate traditional pieces into today’s fresh and colorful interiors.
