State Tretyakov Gallery will become Cosmoscow’s  2017 museum partner

The 5th edition of Cosmoscow international contemporary art fair will take place within Moscow’s Gostiny Dvor on 8–10 September 2017, supported by strategic partner Credit Suisse and jewelry partner Messika. The State Tretyakov Gallery will be Cosmoscow’s Museum Partner for 2017.

The 5th edition of Cosmoscow international contemporary art fair will take place within Moscow’s Gostiny Dvor on 8–10 September 2017, supported by strategic partner Credit Suisse and jewelry partner Messika. The State Tretyakov Gallery will be Cosmoscow’s Museum Partner for 2017.

The collaboration between the fair and the museum includes an important donation to the Museum’s permanent collection with participation of the recently established Cosmoscow Foundation for Contemporary Art.

In addition, Mrs. Zelfira Tregulova, Director of the State Tretyakov gallery will join Cosmoscow Art Fair Collectors’ Board, while Irina Gorlova, Head of Contemporary Art Department will become a jury member of a newly launched Cosmoscow Stand Prize. Cosmoscow VIP card holders will also have special access to the museum’s exhibitions free of charge throughout the Fair and until December 31, 2017.

The artist, whose artwork will find its place in the State Tretyakov gallery's collection, will be announced during Cosmoscow’s opening press call on 7 September.

The Cosmoscow's Parallel programme includes The Modern Art: 1960–2000. Restart exhibition, which is the fourth variation of the Museum’s contemporary art collection display since the 2000’s, dedicated to Russian art of the 1960’s-2000’s. The display features works from the legendary collection of Leonid Talochkin (1936-2002), which has rarely been seen in public for many years.

Anna is a graduate of Moscow’s Photo Academy, with a previous background in intellectual property rights. In 2012 she founded the company Perspectiva Art, dealing in art consultancy, curatorship, and the coordination of exhibitions. During the bilateral year between Russia and The Netherlands in 2013, Perspectiva Art organized a tour for a Dutch artist across Russia, as well as putting together several exhibitions in the Netherlands, curated by Anna. Since October 2014, Anna has taken an active role the development and management of ArtDependence Magazine. Anna interviews curators and artists, in addition to reviewing books and events, and collaborating with museums and art fairs.
