The Lissitzky Foundation is now open

The official announcement of the Foundation’s establishment was made on 30 April 2015. The press conference led by its President, Charles Esche, Director of the Van Abbemuseum, The Netherlands, was focused on the Foundation's mission, goals, future  and current activities.

One of the main tasks of the Foundation will be to create a catalogue of the complete works of El Lissitzky. Since there is a big number of works of uncertain authenticity attributed to Lissitzky both in public and private collections, as well as on the market, the importance of this initiative is of high importance. The work on the catalogue has already started.

The official site of The Lissitzky Foundation is here.
