You are what you eat! Politics of Food at Delfina Foundation

All art scenes tend to create communities and after living in a city for a while, one realises that those communities are often frequented by the same people. As a result, you can start to gain a homely feeling when attending art events and exhibitions. In the case of Delfina Foundation, this sensation of being with family is what defines this art centre, as one feels as comfortable as in their own living room or, perhaps, as in their own kitchen.

Acting in a Center in a City in the Heart of the Island of Eurasia, which takes place from September 22 to November 1, 2015 at VDNKh. The Biennale will take place over ten days, and then a documentary exhibition about it will be presented for the duration of the following month.

MoMA announces 19 artists for its New Photography Exhibition Series On its 30th anniversary MoMA’s new photography exhibition series widens its scope to 19 artists, including works produced specifically for this year’s edition, Ocean of images. The Series will now be presented biannually at MoMA, with a broader international reach.

Winner of Guggenheim Helsinki Design Competition announced Today, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation announced the winning design in the Guggenheim Helsinki Design Competition: a concept that invites visitors to engage with museum artwork and programs across a series of linked pavilions and plazas organized around an interior street.

Mauritshuis attributes Saul and David painting to Rembrandt The Mauritshuis has one of its most famous Rembrandts back. The (full) attribution of the painting Saul and David to Rembrandt is the exciting conclusion of eight years of research by a large team of international experts under the leadership of the Mauritshuis. The painting has been carefully restored and is the centrepiece of the exhibition Rembrandt? The Case of Saul and David, which is presented in the exhibition hall of the Mauritshuis from 11 June to 13 September 2015.
