Historic objects Stolen from Kelham Island Museum

Police in Sheffield are appealing for information after a reported burglary at Kelham Island Museum, where a number of historical objects were stolen.

It was reported at 6.45am on Sunday 14 May that unknown offenders forced entry to the museum and caused damage to display cases. Twelve objects relating to metalworking in the city and including items on loan from Sheffield Assay office were taken during the incident.

Officers want to hear from anybody who may have information about the burglary, or may have seen the items for sale online or in person.
